We’re delighted to announce that our Lamberton Middle School-based classroom has embarked on a unique learning journey by participating in the Carlisle Area School District’s Real Deal House. This innovative program allows districts to offer students hands-on experience mastering vital life skills in a realistic setting. Our CoVE students will have the opportunity to engage in activities such as grocery shopping, meal preparation, dining together—cultivating social skills—and tidying up afterward. This initiative represents a fantastic chance for our students to apply classroom lessons to real-world scenarios, reinforcing their learning and social integration in a practical and enjoyable manner.
