Supporting individuals with autism truly is a community-wide effort. We are honored to partner with many businesses and organizations across Central Pennsylvania in a variety of ways, from financial support to employment and volunteer opportunities for the individuals we serve. You can help further Vista’s mission to improve the lives of individuals with autism and their families by partnering with us in one of the following ways.
Expand your workforce with qualified individuals and build a more diversified, inclusive workplace by tapping into the talents of individuals with autism. Our goal is to facilitate just the right match that will mutually benefit both employer and employee.
Our career developers will work with you to identify ways that employing one of our Employment Services program clients can help save your business money, increase employee satisfaction, reduce overtime, improve efficiencies, and enhance the overall quality of your company. We also provide ongoing job coaching and support to strengthen our clients’ skills toward autonomy and ensure continued job fit.
Looking for a few extra helping hands at your organization? We’d be happy to connect the strengths and interests of our clients and students with a need your organization may have. A number of Vista programs encourage community integration activities as part of our clients’ individualized plans for growth and development. Volunteering not only helps individuals with autism build a variety of vocational and social skills, but it also enables them to pursue their passions and feel a sense of purpose giving back to the community.
We have a number of exciting events planned throughout the year including a spring online auction, the Vista Golf Classic, Vista’s Walk for Autism, and an end-of-the-year gala.
