Vista Autism Services is proud to once again participate in ExtraGive, Lancaster County’s annual day of extraordinary generosity. On Friday, November 21, the community will come together to support hundreds of local nonprofits, including organizations dedicated to advancing opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
For Vista, the day highlights the full continuum of services we provide—from early intervention and school-aged education to adult day programs and employment supports. Each contribution strengthens the work happening across our campuses and in the communities we serve.
Vista’s Adult Employment Services program continues to achieve outcomes that set a high standard across the Commonwealth. More than 82% of adults with disabilities who come to Vista looking for employment secure community-based jobs, supported by individualized coaching and strong partnerships with regional employers. These are real opportunities with real wages, reflecting both the effort of our clients and the commitment of the employers who welcome them.
Our Lancaster County partners also play a meaningful role in preparing the next generation of workers. Vista provides transition services to students from Lancaster County, helping them build the skills and confidence necessary for employment and adult independence. This past year, three Lancaster County students graduated from The Vista School with plans in place for employment, training, and continued growth.
ExtraGive allows the community to invest directly in these outcomes. Each gift—large or small—helps advance opportunities for individuals with autism across every stage of life.
