The Vista School welcomed 28 Penn State Human Development and Family Studies students to campus on March 22, 2023 for a presentation, lunch, and guided tour. The visit was part of their classwork to learn more about how an organization like Vista is run.
Vista founder Mike Jarman shared with them how Vista got started as one of the first organizations in PA to blend special education and behavioral health into one program. Kyle Bertone, Behavior Technician Supervisor and Internship Coordinator at Vista, spoke about the Applied Behavior Analysis framework used for all Vista programs.
It was a treat for us to meet and inspire the rising professionals who may one day join the Vista mission to advance and innovate, to improve lives, and to inspire hope for individuals with autism and their families.
