The recently passed 2024-25 State Budget includes substantial investments aimed at enhancing the quality of life for individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities and providing much-needed support to direct support professionals who are crucial to their care.
This budget reflects a long-standing commitment from the community, advocates, and various stakeholders who have tirelessly voiced the need for enhanced funding to support home and community-based services.
