Statewide Autism Information and Support

County Assistance Offices (CAO)
Local offices where Pennsylvanians can apply for and renew benefits (including through COMPASS) and receive assistance from caseworkers in person or by phone.

Behavioral Health Managed Care Organizations (BH-MCOs)
Under Pennsylvania’s HealthChoices program, each county is served by a BH-MCO that coordinates access to covered mental health and drug and alcohol services. Members are assigned based on county of residence and choose providers within the BH-MCO network.
