At Vista Autism Services, we know that the quality of our care starts with the quality of our people. That’s why we’re proud to celebrate Justin Miller, a Life Skills Instructor in our Adult Day Program, who recently became a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
Justin’s background includes teaching at HACC and Penn State Harrisburg, but he found his calling when he joined Vista more than two years ago. His passion for helping others and his love of learning led him to take on the RBT certification to better understand the why behind behavior and improve how he supports individuals with autism.
He completed his coursework independently, driven by curiosity and a sense of purpose. “The more you put into something, the more you get out of it,” Justin said—an outlook that perfectly reflects Vista’s commitment to excellence and lifelong learning.
Now, Justin applies his skills to help adults build greater independence in everyday life, from budgeting and decision-making to cooking and community participation. His story reminds us that the path to meaningful outcomes begins with dedicated people who are always striving to grow.
