At Vista Autism Services, we know meaningful growth does not only happen in classrooms, clinics, or structured service settings. For many children and families, some of the most important moments happen out in the community: at the zoo, a museum, a ballgame, a local event, or another shared experience that gives a child the chance to explore, play, and participate.
We wanted to share information about the Join the Fun Foundation, a nonprofit organization that helps children with disabilities access community activities, recreational opportunities, inclusive events, adaptive resources, and support services.
Through its Fun Fund, Join the Fun Foundation offers grant opportunities that may help eligible families cover costs related to outings, special experiences, adaptive supports, or trained support so children can participate more fully in the community.
