A Vista Adult Services customer, Grant Bunker works seasonally at the Nordstrom East Coast Fulfillment Center in Elizabethtown. His job is to open boxes in Customer Returns. He began working at Nordstrom in June 2016.
In December, Grant’s department manager recognized him with a “rocker” award for opening five pallets of boxes in four hours. Usually, he opens three to four pallets per four-hour shift.
By all accounts, Grant is a model employee. He did not miss a day of work during his most recent stint. He’s consistently on time and puts in a great effort when he’s working.
“Grant is always happy and his personality is awesome,” his certificate states. “He produces very well and in doing so pushes customer orders to us fast so that we effectively process their orders and get them credited as fast as possible.”
Lindsey Buker, HR assistant/recruiting coordinator, set up an initial tour and meeting, arranged an assessment for Grant, and worked closely with Vista staff on all onboarding and negotiating of hours. “It seems he’s been a great addition to the customer returns team as an opener this season,” she said.
Nichole A Walton, customer returns assistant manager, said Grant is doing well in the customer returns department at Nordstrom. “He comes to work very excited and wanting to get started right away. We are so very proud of him and enjoy having him on our team.”
As they say at Nordstrom, “Way to go, Grant!”
