On Monday, September 12, 2022, Vista Autism Services was honored to accept a donation in the amount of $1,170 from the Derry Township Police Department in partnership with the Derry Township Police Association. The donated funds were raised through the sale of a special department shoulder patch designed to help bring support and awareness to those affected by autism. Officer Jason Rode, with the help of World Wide Custom Creations, developed the patch design for Autism Awareness Month this past April. Since then, the Police Association has helped to facilitate the sale of over 100 patches across the United States. We are grateful for the support of Derry Township Police and their work to raise autism awareness.
