What a day we had for the 2016 Vista Walk for Education on September 22! Blue skies and warm temperatures made it feel more like summer than the first day of fall. Students challenged themselves to walk around the quad and join in activities. Some parents joined us, too. Later in the afternoon, a group walked in support of autism awareness at Clipper Magazine Stadium in Lancaster. Teamwork on the PTO’s giving page was truly inspiring! Thanks to our entire community, The Vista School PTO and The Vista Foundation raised a total of $44,786.30 in the 2016 Vista Walk for Education. A BIG thank you goes to PTO president Shanan Vanatta and secretary Kylie Stauffer for their leadership. With proceeds from this year’s event, the PTO will purchase a school van to help transport our students into the community where they will learn valuable job and life skills.
